Hi. I also have this discoloration in the corner of my upper eyelids and there is a long streak on the bottoms of both eyes too. I'm 40 with a history of high bp now controlled most times and high cholesterol.
I was told these orangesh flat soft raised bumps are caused from cholesterol deposits. I think it is called XANTHELASMAS.
If you have them, your doctor can do a blood test to detect whether your cholesterol or triglyceride levels are elevated.
"From what I understand" they are harmless fatty deposits that can be removed but, usually grow back. Hope this helped. It never hurts to ask your Dr. though.
I have had MVP also for many years (I am 46) and have never heard of anything like that related to MVP.
I have Mitral Valve Prolapse also, and this is one symptom I have NEVER heard of -
I also have orange discoloration on this inside corners of my upper eyelids. I notice it gets brighter orange when I am tired. I quit drinking diet soda, thinking the coloring may be causing it. I, too, would love to know what causes this condition. I am 43.
I also have this discoloration and do not have MVP.
I have never seem anything like this. It is probably unrelated to MVP.
