Low Heart Beat

by CatyJo, Nov 04, 2009 11:50AM
I am a healthy and active 29 year old female. I have a low resting heart beat (around 44). I am not a tri-athlete, though active. Having a low resting hrt.beat ... could that be an indication for something?

Secondly, over the course of the past 10years, I have passed out about 1/year - sometimes when i'm ill -, would this be related to my heart rate?

Simply, is this a condition i should be seriously concerned of? I'm not apt to life-time prescription drugs and tons of medical expenses (to find out this is "how it is" , it's not serious enough to do anything, but you should be aware, etc.).

This is a very low pulse considering you aren't extremely active.  I think it would be worth discussing with your doctor.
