Low Pulse Pressure and Low Blood Pressure

Low Pulse Pressure and Low Blood Pressure

I'm 30year old female 165cm tall and 60kg weigh. Constantly I have low blood pressure: systolic between 90-97mmHg, diastolic between 60-70mmHg. So pulse pressure is  20-37mmHg (systolic minus diastolic).  Sometimes I have pain in my chest, my heart is beating hard and increase when I want to get a breath. It passes in about 2min. I don't have any similar problem during I do some sport (running, rollering) just when I'm idle.

What does it mean? Is it dangerous in long term when I have such low pressure? Is there a possibility that I have or will have some heart disease?

Low blood pressure is defined as three readings UNDER 90/60, so you really don't have low blood pressure. Low blood pressure is not usually treated unless it is extremely low or causing symptoms. Also, I don't think numbers like these would cause chest pain unless there was another underlying condition, which given your good tolerance for exercise and lack of symptoms when running doesn't seem likely. Your symptoms sound more like anxiety than heart issues, but you should have your doctor check you out to be safe.

Hope this helps,

Jon
