PVCs with stress/belching

Hi, I just came across this thread and found it interesting.  I have PVCs now and again, but they seem to be brought on during times of stress and lately I always have to belch afterwards.  It seems that heartburn has also played a role.  My chest will feel tight with gas, but perfectly fine once I get it out.  I was diagnosed with silent thyroiditis two years ago- I go through boughts of hyperthyroidism followed by hypo periods and then back to normal for awhile.  The PVCs always seem linked to the hyper times.  My doc does not seem concerned at all, but anything with my heart scares me due to a family history of atrial fibrillation (fortunately I do not have any symptoms of that).  The only medication I take is bromocriptine for a small benign pituitary tumor. Is this what other people are experiencing and is there a way to reduce the prevalence?  Could it be indicative of another condition?

I had PVC's with belching.  It lasted for a week before I went to doctor.  He withdrew blood and discovered I was HypoThyroid.  I went on SynThyroid and after 4 days of taking the medication my PVC's and belching stopped.

YES, gas and a bloated stomach which pushes up against the other organs of your body including the heart can most definatly cause those pesky PVC's. I have them, and mine are brought on if I eat larger meals or by drinking large glasses of water. If I sit(slouch) or lie down shortly after eating they will act up as well. I hate the darn things. I know my hiatal hernia causes  some of mine, it presses up against the "vagus nerve" and can cause this type of reflex action. If you will go to the archives and type in hiatal hernia or gas, you will see that there are lots of other members who have this exact same problem.

One gentleman on one of the threads got help with his by drinking aloe vera juice, this also helps any acid reflux. As I said, browse the archives, they are chock full of all kinds of helps and you will soon see you are not alone.

Oh yes, a hyper thyroid condition will absolutely bring the PVC's on also.

Funny, I was thinking my gas/PVC theory was completely wacked out when I came across your thread. My wife is actually having some PVC's at the moment, so I'm just checking to see what info I could find. But back to the my situation - I was wondering if it was possible that having a bloated stomach could make it kind of cramp your organs and push against your heart so that you just notice it more?? Otherwise, I can't for the life in me figure out how else gas would make your heart do funky stuff.

Anyway, sorry I didn't have much info to share, but thought you might appreciate knowing that there is someone else out there who agrees with the connection you've made.
