Pacemaker Defib New Battery Survivability?
I had a St Judes Pacemaker Defib inserted January of 2007 and I am now advised I need a new battery sometime between August to December of 2013 and I turn 62 years old in Sept 2013

Q1, defib has only gone of once due to calibration so is this the expected battery life?

Q2 What is my survivability odds for this procedure?

I'd suggest you will be fine as long as you have a new pacemaker inserted, I think the survival rate of the procedure is close to 100%.  I'd suggest you proceed with great confidence.
