Passing out

I have been having episodes where for no apparent reason I begin to feel sick then I become unresponsive for anywhere from 30minutes and most recently for 1 hour and 15 minutes.  I am not unconcious just out of it unable to respond to instructions.  Then it just stops and feel fine except for feeling very tired.  I have numbness in my arms and legs.  I have had a plaque test which showed no plaque I had a stress test which was good, labs good, chest xray normal, Ct scan showed nothing unusual.  I have been to 3 er's including the Mayo Clinic.  I am very frustrated and do not have time for this and it doesnt go away any suggestions?

Hi grendslori,
Thank you for posting your comment, it's really interesting. Is it actually classed as some form of diabetes?

Your post really struck a cord with me. My daughter also does this and it has really frustrated her doctors. We just found out she has a VERY rare form of Glycogen Storage Disease which is one of the diseases that affects how sugars work in the body to supply the body with energy. (on a side note, her liver enzymes have always been normal)

Hi there,

Yes, definitely go and see an Neurologist as this could be some kind of seizure and there are medication and treatments for this.

Let us know how you are doing, okay.  All the best,

I would perhaps consult with a neurologist.
