can a 64 CTA be wrong?? pls help and advise

i have been having alot of chest discomfort for the last 7 months..in and out of the ER all the time..it is a pain/pressure dead in the center of my sternum and can radiate sometime to my left shoulder and arm also goes to the right side of my chest as well..
i also get what i call butterflies in my chest..kinda what they feel like in your stomach but right in the center of my chest.
i feel weak all the time..it doesnt take much to get out of breath and dizzy.
with that being said i'm 38 yr old male 5'10" and weigh 170.. i used to work out all the time but know i cant because of whats happening with me.. dont drink, dont smoke, and dont use drugs.
had an upper GI and was told i have acid reflux.. tried every medicine under the sun and it has not helped some of the meds made my symptoms worse.. so i'm not really buying that i have reflux. also since taking all the acid blockers my blood sugar drops all the time..
soooo with that all out of the way these symtoms are getting worse an i have had many heart test done minus the cath i have had treadmill stress test, echo stress test, numerous ekg and blood work, a couple stay at the hostpital under observation  and the grand test...CTA 64 slice.ALL these test have came back great with no problems.. even had a lung function test at it to turned out great.
my question is can a CTA be wrong or read wrong? because everyday i feel like i could drop over dead at any minute?
these chest pains are crippling me with fear an im afraid to go anywhere or do anything.
PLEASE HELP.my doctors thinks its panic...but that is not the case if there is any panic its because of whats going on...the pressure an butterflies are always there and the pain comes an goes.
any advise would be great
thanks
also forgot to mention that my heart feels like it is pounding out of my chest all the time...an when it dont feel like that all i have to do is walk across the room or do something
pls keep in mind i used to workout daily before this

It is unlikely that a CT scan would be wrong. Especially in a young person, the ability of the CT to see calcium, which is usually associated with artery blockages, is extremely good, and the best for detecting this. If all this testing is normal, then the most likely answer is that while your pain is real, it is not coronary (heart artery) related.

If you do not trust this, and your symptoms are still recurring, speak with your cardiologist about a cardiac cath. While not ideal in someone your age (and may not be covered by your insurance due to all the normal tests thus far so will be out of pocket by you), this would be the end all, be all answer as to whether there is heart artery problems. Based on your testing thus far I imagine the cath will be normal (more than 99% chance), but you can do this to give you peace of mind. While doing that test, they can give a medication to try to cause your arteries to spasm, which can cause similar pain and is not managed with stents but rather medications which would prevent artery spasms. If the cath and testing for spasm are negative, then it is not your heart causing this pain, and anxiety, GI, lung, or muscular issues need to be explored.
