Question about a ablation

My question about my heart ablation is..Ever since I had mine 2 weeks ago monday my hair is so full of static
electricity I cant get it to lay down...It was terrible when I was leaving the hospital after the ablation...What would be the reason??it is because of the radiation from the test...I think I read where you were exposed to quite a bit
of radation during the procedure and the studies...Is this correct ???If so how in the world do you get that out of your body???? My heart is doing great from the ablation have had no problems or pain...I had Wolf Parkinson
White Syndrome..and Im sure it has been taken care of....If you have that problem I would suggest a person
get this done..Just dont like the thought of the radiation deal. Has anyone else had this particular problem after the studies and ablation...Thank you

I am also with Ireneo on this - no correlation between ablation and static hair!  the only complication after Ablation (I had that) is pericarditis and for that you take aspirin.

Climate changes causes static hair.  You need something like a "hair putty" or silicone spray to calm the hair down.

Enjoy your new heartrhythm!

I can think of no connection between having an ablation and having increased static in your hair. I've had 3 ablations and never had a problem. I don't know where you live but in the northern hemisphere winter is coming and there is generally reduced moisture in the air which will cause increased static. I'm seeing a bit more of that here even in the wet NW states.
