Just to add many things can cause poor R wave progression ranging from lead placement issues (the ekg was done improperly) an old heart attack to a normal variant.
Just remember that for the most part an EKG is a general indicator of heart health and more tests are often needed to give a definite answer. Also I would trust an Echo, or any other imaging study over an ekg.
I believe this means that the r wave (peak of the qrs complex) doesn't get bigger from V1-V3
