RBBB...is it normal?

Hello again.  In response to my other post, is it safe to say that the incidence of RBBB showing up on an EKG is normal in my case?  It has only shown up on one EKG out of maybe 15 or so in the past few years.  I am now experiencing pain in both my legs and my left forearm and hand swelled up on Sunday while I was in the shower.  I went to my PCP on Monday and she seems to think that all of this is related to a pinched/compressed nerve in my back.  Due to insurance reasons I cannot have an MRI of my neck or back until I try medications and physical therapy.  Could a compressed nerve really only effect the left side of my body and both legs?  I noticed the pain is worse when sitting/laying down, not walking or standing.

I also forgot to mention in my previous post that I tested positive at one time for the Lupus Anticoagulant and was told I have "sticky blood".  When I was rechecked 6 weeks later it did not show up again.  My PCP rechecked me, but I do not know the results yet.  Could this be causing my problems?

Thanks again for your response, and I am trying to quit smoking.  I have cut down dramatically but unfortunately I am human and have relapses :-(

The pain does sound neuropathic as you describe it.  It would have this type of distribution.  Your symptoms of morning stiffness and worsening of symptoms with sitting  not standing is consistent with a pinched nerve.  Both or one leg could be affected.  The lupus anticoagulant is probably an incidental finding and without any previous history of clots or miscarriages (in women) has no significance.

My pain is typically worse in the morning when I wake up.  Horrible pains that usually awaken me.  Pressure in the chest and the joints on my left side are almost always stiff and sore.  I do sleep on my stomach, my doctor said that since I don't sleep on either side she isn't really sure why I have so much pain/pressure.  Thanks again!
