Should I be worried?

I have a small VSD discovered when i was eighteen, I am now 47 and have check ups every year. This year appart from normal papilatitions I have began to feel tired, and struggle walk up hills. I have just seem my consultant and he told me my heart had enlarged  again and was commenting on the veins in my neck pulsating. He doubled my dose of Losartan to 50mg and sent me to an echo scan. Just from how the interview went I have felt uneasy about where this is progressing . I am right to be worried or is all this fairly rountine?

I would rather a doctor be proactive on care rather than brush it off.  Human nature calls for worry, but I would try not worry that much until the tests tell you something.
