Sudden change in INR

by suneeti, Apr 08, 2008 06:26PM
My husband, 66 years, had a pacemaker put in 4 years ago and has been on Coumadin since. His INR has always been around 2.2 since. Recently, while we were in India for a few months, it suddenly dropped to 1.1. Two weeks ago since our return to US, his doctor has increased coumadin to 10 mg with almost no change. His diet contains very little vitamin K. Anything he can change to improve INR values? Thanks.

This discussion is related to Vitamin K and blood clotting.
