I had a double 10 years ago and it still hurts. I was and am very active, regularly lift weights, and generally run around and enjoy skiing, soccer, basketball, and the like. I have gotten used to it.
Odd thing is that the artery that was bypassed later reopened.
Hello Ken: I had a 5 way bypass in 99, you will feel better. Walk, walk, walk....even slowly. Later when you get stronger, join a fitness club and work on your upper body and legs. Andy
It may take up to 6 to 9 months to get back to your usual self. Have you been through rehab at all. If not, you should consider it. Getting back to exercising (not heavy weight lifting) will make you get better faster.
