I think you definitely need further evaluation. Your episode of very fast heart rate may have been due to afib, but it was nevertheless quite fast even for afib. This can sometimes occur when there are abnormal electrical connections in the heart. Fast heart rates (usually not afib) can also occur due to coronary artery disease. Even though your stress test sounds like it was normal, given your family history, you may still have significant coronary artery disease. As a first step I would re-evaluate all your completed tests before deciding what further tests you may need. Tests I would consider include a cardiac catheterization and an electrophysiological study.

I am a 30 year old female. I have always been very active and a in good physical shape. I am 5'10' tall and weigh 128 lbs. Three years ago i started having episopeds with my heart. I was having numerous PVC episodes. I have had a stress test, two echo-cardigrams and have worn every monitor that they make. Doctors say that I am fine.
Two years into the PVC episodes I found out that my sugar levels get really low sometimes as well as really high. ( 50-274 )
Doctors now tell me that the PVC's are coming from the sugar reactions that I have. This may be true, but even when my sugars are stable, I have many PVC's. None of this started happening to me until after I had a hystorectomy in 1997. After the hystorectomy I started having problems with my sugar and heart.
I take Estra-Test full strength everyday.
Could this be a contributing factor?? Please let me know something. E- Mail....***@****
