Unsure of symptoms

10 Months agoago I had an Echo, bunch of EKGs and a 30 day monitor. All came back good (with the doc stating I had a strong heart and no signs of disease or disfunction) other then I have PVCs. I am though over weight and have gained probably 30 pounds this year alone (which I am now working on). Over the past few months I have noticed an increase in my asthma. A mild daily cough and a slight wheeze. Not too great with excersize but again I am working on that as well. I can go up a flight of steps with only being a bit winded..... I had a Chest CT Scan done 8 months ago and more recently a chest xray (4 days ago) where they noticed what looked like a bit of bronchitus in my lower right lung and are treating with antibiotics.  I have a rescue inhailer that I use and it clears the breathing right up. I also suffer from allergies (yet I still own 3 dogs ~ silly I know)

I am a 33 year old female, quit smoking 3 years ago (have always kept a bit of a cough even after I quit). No real family history of heart disease other then my 72 year old father who has CHF, but smoked for 50 years, ate horrible, was over weight etc. My mother has high blood pressure but that is controlled with meds.

My blood pressure is average, my HR runs a bit high but I think it's more so from being deconditioned.

Just wanted to get an opinion if this sounds more like athma / allergies / deconditioning since I within the last year had the tests done, or if this sounds like I have developed heart disease over the past few months?

I also suffer from anxiety and take meds for that as well.

I also have annual physcials which I am going for mine in the next 2 weeks.  I have started walking and eating much better too, don't drink. Thanks for your time doctor.

Thank you doctor, I do get a bit of pain on both sides of my chest sometimes when I walk fast / really push myself (walk fast and hard up steep hills), but it feels like cramping and its something I have felt before, tends to stop as soon as it starts and is rare.

Without being able to review your entire history it will not be possible to give you an exact answer, but generally speaking with the information you have given me and the testing that has been done i think this is a combination of both deconditioning and also bronchitis/asthma that they have found. I would continue to follow up with your physician esp if the symptoms do not improve. WIth the information you gave me i do not think it is cardiac in nature but if the SOB dosent improve and your lung issues are better under control or if you start having chest pain then i think you should get further worked up. But i do NOT think you need any other workup at the present time esp with a normal echo, EKG.
Hope this helps and let me know if i can help out anymore

Oh and I forgot to mention that I rather tired....  have been for most of my life though, I could take a nap daily if I really wanted to.  But I am on Zoloft and I know that can make you very sleepy. Also very stressed, my father has Stage 4 cancer and I am his POA and very involved in his medical care, I have 3 young children and work full time. I also started a new job.... Stress is my middle name....
