Vasotec lowers diastolic better then systolic

by TheMick#7, Nov 17, 2006 12:00AM
I've been on 10 mg of Vasotec for about 6 months.  I have a murmur.  My diastolic pressure has gone down to about 75 while my systolic remains around 135.  If my Doctor recommends upping the dosage of Vasotec should I suggest that I might be better off adding a low dosage of Norvasc or am=nother Calcium Channel blocker?

That's a tough question that probably only you and your doctor will be able to puzzle out.  Blood pressure can prove a difficult beast sometimes.
