Very strange symptoms

Hi, I am 36 male and have been having very strange symptoms for 3 weeks.  I have a history of a mild duodenitis but the stomach pain hasn't bothered me in over 3 years.   Lately, I have lost my appetite somewhat (I can still eat, but my stomach feels like it's in a knot a lot.   This started when I had begun my daily exercise program again and doing well with it for a few weeks.    But, associated with this, I keep getting these dizzy / disconnected / disoriented feeling spells that are directly associated with a rush or shock in my upper stomach at the same time.     Please tell me the pitfalls and possibilities?   I looked for connections of "spells" associated with stomach conditions and didn't find any, could it be connected to the vagus nerve in that area or something unusual?

No one can diagnose via the Internet, but based on what you have described, I suggest you ask your doctor about an upper GI endoscopy (EGD) to make sure there isn’t an ulcer.  These “spells” appear more related to the GI system than the heart, though you are right that the vagus nerve plays vital roles in both systems.
