I have gone through another CT angiography, Please suggest what is LMCA Absent, is it risky? Please comment-
Report
Right coronary artery is dominant.LEFT CORONARY SYSTEM
Left main – Absent. LAD and LCX are directly arising from left coronary sinus.
LAD – Stent is seen in mid LAD. There is intimomedial thickening in proximal LAD with eccentric calcified plaque causing mild luminal narrowing. Rest of the LAD is normal in caliber and outline.
Diagonal arteries – D1, D2 and D3 show normal course, caliber and enhancement. No evidence of stenosis or flow limiting plaque is noted.
Circumflex – An eccentric calcific plaque is seen in proximal LCx with no obvious luminal narrowing seen.
OM is free of disease. RIGHT CORONARY SYSTEM-RCA –shows normal course, caliber and enhancement. No evidence of stenosis or flow limiting plaque is noted.PDA and PLV - show normal course, caliber and enhancement.Aorta: - The Ascending and descending segments of aorta under view are normal.
Pulmonary arteries (main trunk, left & right branches as well as proximal lobar branches) appear normal in caliber and outline. Summary: RIGHT SIDE DOMINANT
LMCA – Absent.LAD-Stent in mid LAD with intimomedial thickening in proximal LAD with eccentric calcified plaque causing mild luminal narrowing.LCx – An eccentric calcific plaque in proximal LCx with no obvious luminal narrowing.RCA – Normal.Calcium Score - 44
