can very low total Cholesterol cause low HDL and the need for drug and risk for cad low

i am a strict vegetarian  non smoker  AGED  57 YEARS with BMI 18 euglycemic physically active  I AM ON CONSISTENTLY ON VERY LOW FAT DIET FOR THE PAST 6 MONTHS  AND  3 KG BELOW IDEAL BODY WT with very low HDL  AND LOW TOTAL COLESTEROL (I DO MINIMUM  140 MINUTES OF WALKING /WEEK)

MY BP IS 90/60 TREADMILL TEST NEGATIVE
QUESTIONS
DO THIS LOW HDL REQUIRE NIACIN /(SINCE I AM A VEGETARIAN I CANNOT TAKE FISH/FISH OILS )CAN FLAX SEEDS WILL BE OF BENEFIT?
DO I REQUIRE SCREEING FOR HYPOABETALIPOPROTEINEMIA ?
WHAT IS THE RISK FOR CORONARY ARTERY DISEASE?

I don't see much of a risk, your HDL is way too low, but your LDL is very low as well so your ration is about perfect. I would prefer to have a higher HDL to be safe so I would step up my exercise level since you can not take fish oil. In order to get an increase in HDL by exercise you need to be at least 75% of your max heart rate, walking won't get that done. You should get your doctor's input before you increase your exercise level.

I don't think this lipid profile puts you at much risk, but I am not a doctor, you should ask yours.
