I was reading Cleveland Clinic Heart advisor pg 72 Drugs to advoid if you have heart failure I have PPH enlarged heart and leakage of my valves. Been on Cardizem 180mg x 2 ea morn with 40mg Benicar for at least three years. Cardizem is one said to advoid. Should I slowly go off it and see how Benicar would do alone?

It's generally not a good idea to go off any heart med without discussing it with your doctor first. Some will have bad side effects if you stop them too quickly. Take the information you have, show it to the doctor and ask if there's a better alternative. Don't take any chances with your heart.
