Pulmonary HTN may be primary, ie, due to hyper activity of the pulmonary vessels or more commonly may be cuased by structural heart disease such as severe mitral valve diseae or severe diastolic heart failure. You have neither. Echos tend to be inaccurate in estimating pulmonary pressures. Given that you are asymptomatic and have no reason to have pulmonary HTN I would not pursue this any further. If it really bothers you and you would really like to know the real answer, there is an invasive test, called a right heart cathterization which is very simple and would provide us with exact answers. Again, because you have no symptoms, I am not sure that this is worthwhile. I would therefore continue to monitor this. Next time you have an echocardiogram, which by the way doesn't need to be done until 2-3 years from now, you should have this reevaluated. Hope this helps and I hope it eases some of your anxiety.
about the mitral annulla calificatioj with trace of regurg. I did read this i a aging thing. I don't know what numbers to give you that pertains to this.

thank you for your time. You have really made me feel much better. My G/P really stays on top of things and I received a letter from her saying my echo was fine and watch my B/p.I should never do a internet search.
Thanks again, line
