can you please define what you mean by a normal anigioplasty.
Are you saying that ALL problems are resolved in the treatment? if so, then you can still get problems later on in life if disease continues to progress. Also there is a possibility that a stent can fill with scar tissue, causing restenosis.
If a drug eluting stent is used, then restenosis is far less likely.
