how serious is it

by mookie302, Mar 17, 2007 12:00AM
In June 2006, i had a angiogram done, and was told by my heart doctor that I have a anomolie of the coronary arteries.  My right coronary artery is located on the Left side with my Left coronary artery.  He has done stress test that I have not passed, only 2 min on treadmill. and he said that i did have ischemia alittle, but he also said that they could not do By-Pass surgery because of how the defect was.  He had never seen on like this, 4 other doctors looked at my results and all they can say it's it looks backwards.  He doesn't know how i've live so long, I'm 51 years of age female, i work night shift at the hospital.  my doctor saids i need to quit work, but i was really wondering     Can it really be that bad.  I get round okay, i stll get chest pain frequently, my blood pressure is okay, i take toprol xl 150 mg a day and ASA 325mg a day, nitropatch 0.4 mg 12/12  my question is if they can't do by pass surgery, what else can be done for coronary anomolies?
