I was told by an er Dr that my MV may be getting worse, and I may need to get it replaced. How do you know? Are there symptoms. Or signs? I don't. Have insurance now.so I can't. Afford just to start seeing a cardo if I don't need to. I'm a 42 yr old female.
You may be eligible for health care, you just don't know unless you check. Given your diagnosis, I would investigate the matter with a larger local hospital, hopefully a trauma center or teaching hospital, and ask to talk to social services.
You need an Echocardiogram. I encourage you to examine your options carefully. Keep us informed.
