hi -
I'm new here, and hope I'm in the right forum.
I was just diagnosed with neurally mediated hypotension. I've had what's been called "chronic fatigue" for years but it doesn't always seem to fit the profile.
My doc prescribed midodrine and beta blockers. I see from the forum that some members have had some relief from NMH (and other hypotension disorders) from both those drugs. I need some advice on taking them - is there anyone out there that takes both?? I asked for the beta blockers b/c I suffer horribly from insomnia and nighttime anxiety and pounding heart - does that mean I should take them before bed? Should I maybe try taking the midodrine and then slowly introducing the beta blockers at night?
I am ridiculously hypersensitive to meds (I wish that someone could explain that to me!), so I tend to take about 1/4 (or less!) of what's actually prescribed.
Any input/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
