normal EKG?
I had symptoms of a heart attack. The DR did an EKG and said it was normal. Is that all there is to determine if it were a heart attack or not? At the time I had stopped taking my high blood pressure meds because they were causing the area of my kidneys to hurt.  I have been put on new HBP meds and now have chest pains/back pain. Any suggestions? I was also diagnosed with GERDS a few years ago, so I'm not sure if it's my heart or GERDS.
thanks

Usually they do troponin blood tests to determine whether or not someone has had a heart attack.
