numbness

Hi I am a 43 year old female and I've been having episodes where I'll just be sitting and all of a sudden I get a numb feeling in my chest and I feel like I cant breath and I get light headed and feel like I'm going to pass out. I just had an episode about 10 minutes ago and I still feel fuzzy and cannot think too clearly. Also after this happens I am extremely tired.  I have had a heart stress test and wore a halter monitor for a month and nothing has come up abnormal. Does anyone know what this may be?

During the time you wore the Holter, did you have any of such episodes.  If not, then the Holter isn't very useful. I would be interested to see what happens to your heart rate when you're having an episode.  This could be a vagal episode.  I would suggesting wearing the Holter again until you actually re-experience the episode.

Are you drinking enough water? I know that I get like that sometimes when I have an anxiety attack. When I am dehydrated it brings on the attack, and it feels the same as you are describing.
