I have had bypass surgery twice and experienced both times having food not taste good to me.  I would be hungry but the food would come and I had to force myself to eat some of it.  It's been two weeks since my last bypass and food is begiinning to taste good to me again and I find I' m eating a lot more.  If it's only been six days, it's no wonder your appetite isn't normal.
