treatment for atrial septal aneurysm?

by eunice0191, Mar 04, 2009 07:42PM
Hi! I have a question about my ASA which seems to be a congenital problem.  I'm 52 and so far asymptomatic for that.
I had several echos during past 2 years.  I had one today and found that my septal aneurysm become larger (1.68cm).
Is there anything to treat the aneurysm or do I need to just wait till it grows bigger and bigger?  What if it ruptures, What symtoms will I have on the situation?  Please help me find the way.
