Hi Debbie -
Same thing for me. I completely understand how you are feeling. I've had mine for 11 days now. I was really anxious for the first few days (pressing the button more times than I should have lol), but then I did start relaxing. It self recorded 2 times since I have had it. I'm going to call tomorrow and ask them why it did that.
I do think that once it is over with we will have answers. Either good or bad. But it will be one more thing to cross off the list of what is wrong.
I don't want to wish life away, but I hope the 30 days go by quickly. My Drs office said that many times they have the patient take it off early if they get the info that they need.
Oh, man that stinks! I guess this is their way to weed out the weak hearts huh? They figure if you survive the panic each beep induces then your heart is fine. If you have a heart attack due to the fear they have one less person to worry about. (sorry, I am being sarcastic)--the good news is, you didnt have a heart attack, just a panic attack (and we all know how fun those are :(
Thanks Jenny, This monitor is not for people that suffer from anxiety, It went off again this morning, I called it in and they told me there was nothing they needed to call me doctor for. I am not going ot make 30 days. I am calling my EP tomorrow to find out why its going off. I am going to go crazy.
I never used that type, but Im sorry its stressful---I know I would have had a panci attack if it tells you when you have something instead of you just knowing-sort of--its all rotten either way isnt it? I hope you are feeling better.
