Thank u so much for your advice, I really appreciate it!
Hi,
I'll try to give you a good answer.
The first thing you should get examined is your thyroid levels. I can't say for sure, none of us are doctors here, but if your symptoms should indicate a disease, hyperthyreoidism was the only thing I could think of.
There is also a condition where your body produces too much insuline after a high-carb meal. This is not a disease pr say, more of a condition where you should avoid too much sugar and white bread. Your blood sugar levels drops too quick, putting your body in an "alarm" state, where you produce too much adrenaline and get palpitations.
Both conditions can easily be ruled out or confirmed by a general physician.
In general, your symptoms seems a bit like anxiety reactions. They can occur even if you're not aware of them. Especially the point with exercise outdoor causing palpitations is very common and a classical anxiety syndrome. I have the same problem. I could exercise on a threadmill or a bike as much as I wanted, but as soon as I started climbing hills, I got palpitations. It resolved by "counting backwards" as I walked up the hills. You should try that :)
The palpitations after eating can have the same cause. Have you read about the "Pavlov's dog experiment"? If not, google it. It's not always easy to understand how our subconcious mind works :)
It's possible a small amount of beta blockers, along with some reassurance, would be of great help to you. I would advice you see a doctor when you are able to, get thyroid levels checked, and ask for a small dosage of beta blockers, and an explaination of your symptoms. It helped me a lot!
