High T wave on my ECG

by Marco52, Nov 12, 2008 04:33AM
Hi There,

I am a 31 years old male and I am reasonably fit. I have start jogging about 3 months ago and now able to un for 45 minutes at a slow pace. I have been a bit stressed lately and a bit anxious. I had a chest pain recently so I went to the hospital as I was scared. They did an ecg and find "High T waves" so they did the ecg again and it was still the same. They did a few blood test and also checked potassium level everything came back normal as well as the Xray. My bp 146 over 95 that night as I was very tense. They told me that this chest pain was most probably cause by anxiety or muscle related. The doc told me "everyone is different all tests are fine and maybe high T wave are normal for you". I am now a bit concern... Is there any other reasons for T waves to be high? Any comment would be appreciated.

Regards,

Marc
