Hi I have to agree with the above, don't just sit and worry about what might be!
Go get cheched out and find out whether there is actually anything to worry about!
I get extra beats (feel like missed beats) all the time, they are scary but on their own should be 'just scary', not harmful.
I hope you get u'r mind put to rest soon and wish you the very best of luck.
I would have to say that "loving them" may be a bit much, but accepting them is the first step in alleviating some of the symptoms. RNRita is 100% correct in all she says above. She's a wise one :-). Ask for a referral to a cardiologist and request a cardiac workup. I'll bet money that your results will yeild benign palpitations, but the piece of mind offered by knowing that is priceless.
Take care.
Hi there. Getting palps as you drift off to sleep is a very common symptom here. No one knows why it happens, but most of us have experience this. I've had PVCs for 31 years and got to the point, for a while, that I couldn't fall asleep nicely without my PVCs lulling me to sleep. Go figure. Then they go away. As soon as I try to love them, they leave me! lol Anyway, the dizziness most people (not all, mind you) feel when they get PVC's are the stress hormones being released from fear and anxiety. A few PVCs, in and of themselves, should not cause dizziness as they are extra beats, not skipped beats. If you are concerned, go have a cardiac work up and when they tell you your heart is normal and not to worry....try to love them...:)
