had my ep study and my ablation done

hi everyone......well i had the ep study done and ablation it took 7 hrs and my doc says he thinks he got it and only time will tell i hope he did becuz i did not have a good time after the procedure was done i was very upset 2 my stomach after and my arms killed me...lol i said 2 the doc it feels like u cut them off and put them back on! then on top of all this im sick with broncidis so i really cant tell if i feel better yet, but besides my tummy being upset and my arms hurting after the ablation wasnt that bad but would be upset if i needed it done again! thanks 2 everyone who helped and talked 2 me b4 that day and i will keep ya posted on my recovery!

I came across your post and I got so excited for you!   Sounds like things went really well.  I'm soooo happy for you.  Now get some rest but definitely keep us updated.

I don't understand why your arms hurt. Stomach upset too? I've had 3 ablations (my second one lasted 7 hours lab time plus the annoying recovery time of several more hours). I'm sorry you felt so terrible afterwards but that's unusual.

Glad it's over. Be patient with the recovery. It takes at least 2 months for the heart to heal. You may feel some flutters now and then but they convert back to NSR quickly. In the meantime, take care and rest up.
