I was doing some research for something else and ran across this article that I thought you'd be interested in:  http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/micturition-syncope/AN01608

Seems to fit your situation.  Looks like you might need to start sitting down to pee.  ;)

It could have been vagal in nature.  I passed out once because I was pregnant and dehydrated and had not eaten all day.

so i wonder if getting up too fast was a culprit

one dr said it may have been a Vagus nerve or something

I would do the EP study, it is better to get all things ruled out. You may, like Jerry said, have had an episode of low blood pressure or low heart rate, and when your heart decided to "rest" a little, there was not enough pressure to kick it into action again. Just a thought, but, do get it checked to make sure all bases are covered.

Have you had an Electrophysiology Study. Perhaps you've already called your primary care doctor or cardiologist to inform them of the fainting, but if you haven't yet, it's a good idea to notify them.

I know we've "talked" before, but I have a poor memory.

Do you suffer from a low HR (under 50 at rest) or BP?

It could be that your heart just stopped, or more accurately missed a few beats, but restarted before any real damage took place.

If this happens only every few months/years, it is unlikely it can be caught on a monitor.  Seems you'd better be prepared to protect yourself when you get a warning sign, if there is enough time.  Looks like you are at great risk driving a car if this happens again.

I have never passed out but when I get those strange beats, I just know it's coming...I just feel I've just been really lucky ALL these years...
I feel for you, I really do...can't imagine how scared you were/are.....
Wish I had some answers for you, wish I had answers and cures for EVERYBODY here on this forum.....
It's crazy they said everything looked great, they probably said this after a normal sinus rhythm was restored, you need a holter monitor, or even a loop recorder, maybe they can catch your crazy beats...I don't wish this to happen again, but IF it were to happen maybe they can record it....timing is EVERYTHING
