Hello,
I am thinking about having an ablation. Did yours give you permanent results.
Thanks,
Rob
3-8 pvcs per hour?
The number of PVCs per day is an important factor, and it's worth noting that the heart beats on average about 100,000 times per day. In general, doctors don't even blink when a person has under ten thousand PVCs a day, and they don't consider treatment really necessary unless there are about fifteen to twenty thousand.
You might find more reassuring info about PVCs here:

I am hoping that someone can help me. Lately, I have been getting 3-8 pvcs an hour. Is this something I should be concerned about. I have had these for years but not this many. I heard that fish doesn't help these but I am will to try anything at this point. It is very frustrating.
Thanks
Mike
Thank you for the advice about the cal/mag. I take the magnesium and potassium like the cardiologist said. Doesn't seem to be helping tho.
Hi,
Just curious what the prescribed dose of magnesium is?
I already take magnesium as part of my supplement regimen.
I only have PAC's and would love that they would go away!
Thanks!
david
if i take the liq cal /mad before bed i sleep well if i dont-- usually alot of palps..so works fast best with mag dureing day also
Just make sure that you okay it with your heart doc before you take any supplements lanadee....you need to call the doc no matter what because i know in the beginning i was on ToprolXL as well and kept getting breakthroughs before i had my ablation done to get rid of everything and he switched me out to antenolol and it worked alot better for me anyway...its just a thought but call your doc no matter what to give them a chance to correct this for you and to get the okay to take any supplements...
Thank you for the well wishes....right back at ya!!!
Hi....yes, they are PAC's and PVC's, but the cardiologist told me they are benign. I have done all the testing. Just finished with a month long monitor. I talked to the cardiologist this past friday. He said he reviewed the monitor readings, and that there was nothing to worry about. He told me to buy magnesium and potassium, and start taking those. I have done that, have been taking them for about 2 days now. I go back to see him this coming thursday. He is a cardiologist who specializes in rhythm, so I tend to believe what he tells me. I just wish they would go away! Aylish28....about how long after you started taking the mag/calcium did your symptoms start to improve? Thank you all soo much for your inputs!
i have benign pvc/pac also they are very very common my cardiologist said fish oil 1000 mg a day and also liquid calcium /mag at bed and 1 magnesium at lunch helps mine alot---
avoid all stimulants /stress and being overheated/saunas etc
Hi,
I am just a lay person and no expert but I have always heard that PAC's and PVC's are definitely different and that PVC's can be more of a concern. Do you really have both or are you not sure of the difference?
I think I would get a second opinion if a cardiologist told me not to worry about PVC's....
I wish you well........
