what is a structually normal heart? does this mean electrically normal or if you have hole in the heart or other problems like that?

you're welcome,  its difficult for me sometimes to stop worrying about my heart, i check it at night, when im walking, and when i resting, im fit and healthy but for some reason i cant help but check my pulse, that panic attack has really messed up my head but i know that was caused by traumatic birth last october

An EKG is a bit useless finding structural abnormalities. You need an echocardiography for that.

EKG determines heart rhythm, signs of old infarcts, wall thickness, more muscle mass causes harder "firing" (but this measurement is not accurate, high adrenaline levels and increased "firing" can mimic thick walls). EKGs can see if some parts of the heart muscle suffers from lack of oxygen (though this is not very accurate either).

Hi, welcome back!

Structurally normal:
- No sign of old heart attacks (no scar tissue)
- No hypertrophy
- Normal size chambers (a + v)
- Normal valve function (small leaks is OK)
- No holes / shunts
- Normal LV and RV function

Electrical instabilities is not included in this definition (though they usually appear with structurally abnormal hearts)

I think structural normal are all your heart size valves and pumping ability are all nornal,and this is usually confirmed by an echo.
