is this pvc

Okay this thing started 10 years ago while i was driving my heart started to skip and hesitated for a split second and got back into normal. I pulled over and had to catch my breath. Very scary moment. Days went by and I started getting chest pains and panic attacks. I went to the er and they did a ecg and xray. Came back normal and they told me to calm down. It got worse and and I went to another er where the lady doctor told me you might have had a minor heart attack, but I don't think she knew when she was talking about. She sent me to a cardiologist right away and he and other cardiologist did stress, echo, holter, and other things and everything was normal. Things got better for the next 9 years where I was only getting these pvc once in a blue moon. No panic attacks or stress.

Flash foward 10 years later and I am thinking that there really is nothing wrong with me other then panic attacks causing these palpitations, but I started a business and I think its started these attacks up again. I know I have anxiety and panic disorder, because the doctor gave me pills and made me better, but I get these so called pvc when I start to worry about something or stress out. The end of 09 reminded me of 01 and i have seen about 9 different doctors and they really haven't helped to get rid of the skipping of the heart.

I was just at the doctors for a check up christmas time. My blood pressure was normal and he listened to my heart and said it was strong. He told me he sees a lot of people with the same symptoms that come into his office and he labled the palpitations and other symtoms (symptoms) I get as panic and gave me medication. I took it for a while and felt better. Can you tell with stethoscope if you have a strong heart?

Okay my question is, is that when I feel my heart pausing for a second and after it comes back I have to catch my breath, but this only happens once in a while. I get smaller versions of it where it does it lighter if you understand what I mean. Also I don't have other symptoms like being dizzy. I am 31 and i have had this problem for 10 years. How do Doctors know that this heart skipping is not dangerous? When you go for a checkup are doctors that good in detecting things. They don't just send you home because they don't feel like seeing you. Do professional athletes have this, but are able to go on and have a good careers?

Sum it up I would like to get some opinion's on this situation. I have seen a bunch of doctors including cardiologist and had a bunch of test, but only to be told to calm down or your have panic attacks. I also feel like every little ache and pain is doom. What if your heart decides not to go back into rythem? Is that possible or no with a healthy heart?

I believe anytime we feel something with our hearts that we are not completely sure it is benign, we should have that checked out.  Your symptoms sound a lot like mine and I do have PAC's, tachy, anxiety, and full blown panic attacks.  Sometimes I will feel a PAC and that will throw me into a panic attack.  My cardio told me that if I felt like I was going to pass out while I was driving, to pull over.  If I passed out, I would come to.  He told me people that are symptomatic with their PAC's know when they are hitting.  I get EKGs, echos, lab tests, and holter monitors to see my abnormal rythym.  Only the holters have picked up on them.  My daughter who is now 18, also has PAC's and they actually saw hers on an EKG when she was 15.  I have been told that my heart is healthy and the PAC's are benign.  My cardio says I am one of the "lucky" ones that get to feel them. I definitely know my heart is strong because I feel my pulse everywhere in my body most of the time.  Sometimes when I have several PAC's in a row, I will begin coughing very hard to try and stop them, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.  I wish you the best and hope you begin feeling better soon.
