lightheaded and pulse rate

by caz62, Feb 17, 2009 05:21AM
I have a strong family history of arrhythmia deaths in my family, I recently have been suffering from lightheadedness but when I check my pulse its normal 75bpm i seen the doctor and she's not bothered about it too much and no followup was arranged. could you have a a pulse of 60 - 100 but still be in arrhythmia? I feel the dizziness is getting more frequent and severe.

Thanks

Best I can offer is low heart rate and, or, low blood pressure can be related to light headed or dizzy problems.  A HR over 60 at rest, or at low physical activity, should, I believe be sufficient as far at that function is concerned.

The cause may not be heart related.
