RVEDV

What is the significance of having a high RV end-diastolic volume index?  My MRI showed my RVEDV to be 129ml and LVEDV of 139ml?  Could you explain the meaning and significance of this please.

MRI is very reliable at determining those numbers, but unfortunately for you I don't read MRI's and don't know the accepted normal values.  You will need to talk to the doctor that ordered it on this one.  Believe it or not most practices aren't routinely ordering cardiac MRI's, in our region it is usually specialized centers or people doing research in that area.
