my mom recently had a pacemaker put in, she is 87, they had trouble during the surgery and only got one wire put in...what exactly does that mean? they say it will work anyway, but i'm concerned because she can't have anesthesia any longer due to the bad reaction she had during the surgery. basically, they had to finish the surgery w/o anesthesia, of which we are not happy about!
It sounds to me like your doctor(s) are doing the best they can. You may want to get a second opinion. But, I assume the problems with anesthesia is cut-and-dry. I could be wrong on this last point, maybe a second opinion from an anesthesiologist is needed too.
