paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia

hi i am 54 year old i have been diagnosed with psvt 2years ago at the same time i was diagnosed with diabetes i am using glipizide for dm.and for psvt i have been using verapamil and clopidogrel since  2years is it safe to use these 2 drugs for such a long time can i discontinue them. i have no hypertension

I can tell you that it is safe but I can't tell you if you can discontinue them.  the one question I have though is do you really need to be on plavix?  That is an expensive medications.  Would aspirin be as good?  these are questions you will have to ask your doctor but I hate to see you wasting your money if you don't have an indication for plavix.

it is hard to say how best to treat the psvt because there are so many different types of psvt. it depends on what it is.
