most recent ekg

Poor R wave progression v2-v4
T Wave inversion also present
Changes are probably due to LVH but consider anterior infarct
T wave changes in lateral leads
THese minor changes are of equivocal signifigance
EKG - ABNORMAL

So I am 31 year old female and i have suffered from intermittant palpitations since I was 18..always classified as benign.  Recently - 6 weeks ago- the palpitations have stated and been consistant with no reprieve.

I also had an Echo done last week - never saw that report, blood work - didn't see that, and a 24hr holter monitor which recorded 5,000PAC and 15 PVC (maybe I have those backwards..I can't ever remember which is which)

The cardiologist I saw today seems unconcerned by the readings of the everything including the ekg, but that is scary terminology to me.  Can you please provide some input and explanation?  Should I seek a second opinion?

Thank you

While I appreciate that you could not provide a diagnosis via email what I was most interested in was an explanantion of the terminology used in an EKG

I can't really comment with out knowing the studies.  The important studies are the EKG, echo, and Holter.  Cardiology is very visual.  Reading an EKG report is not the same as actually seeing  the EKG.  The same is often true for echo's.  It sounds like all the right studies were done, communications is what you need now.  If you can't get your current doctor to answer your questions, it might be worth a second opinion.
