ventricular bigeminy wiyh struturally normal heart

a 32 year asymptomatic man, during his routine checkup found to have bradycardia. on physical examination his heart sounds were as complex of three sounds, EKG showed ventricular bigeminy with ectopic foci being left ventricle. His electrolytes, thyroid profile & echocardiography were within normal limits. On exercise bigeminy rhythem becomes regular but on rest it was again ventricular bigeminy. what can be done for this patient? presently he is not on any medications.

My husband experienced bigeminy at rest that became regular during exercise.  His doctor prescribed toprol.  We later found out that he had sarcoidosis which was in his lungs but could also have caused the bigeminy if there was inflammation in the heart that was also due to sarcoidosis.  There is no way of knowing if sarcoidosis is in the heart without doing a biopsy which, of course, was not done.  Following treatment with prednisone and toprol, the sarcoidosis resolved in his lungs and the bigeminy is gone.
