Is this Hemorrhoid?

For the past two years when wiping after using the toilet, I've noticed little bits of blood on the tissue. Well it's red, and it's not runny as blood from other orophosis, nor does it seem to be as...wet? It doesn't run down my bum as let's say, a blood runs down my nose.

Today when I wiped my bum a lot of blood was on the tissue, usually it's just little drops, today the blood covered the whole of the tissue nearly that had been used to wipe myself. After that it was the same as usual, little bits of blood and then soon was wiped dry completely. As I said above, the blood didn't run as I'd expect blood to from other parts of my body.

Should I see a doctor or is this natural? Apologise for the topic I chose, I really don't know what any of the options mean.

It could be a hemorrhoid, do you have a lot of hard stools or strain alot to use the bathroom?

Either way though you should get it checked out to be safe to make sure that it is nothing serious, anytime you have bleeding from the rectum it should always be evaluated by your healthcare provider

I agree with the above post.  This isn't something you want to let linger, it may be something minor, but you need to know what it is.  Early detection is key for everything with our health! Take care.

Rectal bleeding is never normal.  Google rectal bleeding and click on to one of the many sites to learn more - the Medicinenet site is particularly informative.

I suggest that you seek medical advice - hopefully to confirm that the cause is minor - e.g. anal fissure or haemorrhoids.  But if the doctor is at all unsure (e.g. "well it looks as if it might be ....anal fissure, haemhorroids etc....") then you may wish to request a colonoscopy.
