Just found a "mass"?

First of all, hello all. :)

So, I have a question, but first let me give you a bit of a background. I've been suffering with thrombosed hemorrhoids that keep coming and going for going on 6 months now. I've had them sporadically over the years since having kids, but these have been absolutely horrific!

I finally broke down, got over the embarrassment and went to a specialist. After trying a few things over the course of a few months, he told me the only way to get rid of these nasty buggers is to surgically remove them. Ok. No problem. I'd rather go through the temporary pain that I will experience after the surgery than keep having these anymore as it has actually stopped my life in it's tracks when they get full blown. But, that is not my question nor concern.

My concern is that I noticed a large "mass" about a week ago and I'm not sure if I should be freaked out. I did some internet research, but, of course, there are many conflicting results, so I thought I would reach out to see if any of you have also experienced this. So, I noticed it the other day when, sorry for the grossness, but my period has been so screwed up that I checked to see if I left a tampon in because it literally vanished. It came back outta nowhere a few days later and let's just say I was unprepared... I did not find one while I was feeling around, but I did find a mass that felt kinda large and firm which, when pushed on, could be felt in my butt, too. It doesn't hurt, but I also don't know what it is. Since I'm having surgery anyway in a month, I was gonna wait to see if he kinda finds it and fixes it while he's in there, but part of me is screaming "DON'T DO THAT!" because of the change I've had in bowel habits, I can't poo without having to "help" by pressing down in that area and my seriously screwed up periods right now. I'm just wondering if it has something to do with the hemorrhoids that he is going to be removing anyway or if it is something else altogether.

I'm sure I could probably list more things, but I don't want to turn this into a book since y'all just met me. ;)

Anyone else have this weirdness?

There are cases when external hemorrhoid reoccurs even after surgery. You can try reduce the swelling by taking herbal medication like ginger. You can also add more fiber-rich foods to your  diet to soften your stool.

Hello Dear,
I am also in the same boat like u...
Suffered from hem for the last 7-8 years had a dead lump of mass hanging around my anus. But now for d last 3 days i suffered same sort hard mass which seems to b there & can be felt with a finger..
Not painful but when I try to press it then I can feel the pressure, every time my hemms flared up in the fast then my homeopathic medicine fixed those. But I am bit scared from this second lump of hard mass which is only noticeable after touching & pressing.
I think you must have gone for surgery by now.
Can you suggest what was that in your case.
Your response will be highly appreciated..
If its hemm then I am sure my homeo med will fix it in 10-15 days.
But I am worried if it is something else...
Please advise
