Hepatitis Panel

Hi everyone, i had a quick question.

I had an antibody Hepatitis Panel done this week and I received results this morning. The panel was done through request a test so I called them to see if they could interpret the results for me and I was told I showed antibodies for Hep A & B and Hep C was negative.

Do the antibodies being present mean that I am infected or simply that I am protected from the infection? I haven't received any hepatitis since I was younger (I'm 23 now).

Please don't take this as a stupid question. I mean it in all seriousness.
