Hep a is a 2 shot series 6 mo's apart, Hep b is a 3 shot series 3 mo's apart, very important to have if you have hep c, but also important for overseas travel especially asian countries, wish I could tell you about the sx you are having, not normal by any means, you can talk to the Doc on this forum for I think 5 bucks, might be cheap at any cost. I have had both and had no symptoms, with exception of slight flu like symptoms with the hep a shot but only for an hour or so. good luck.

There is a combo shot called Twinrix that I received. It's a series of 3 shots, one month apart.
You can have a blood test to see if Hep A/B titers are in your blood, as well.
I'm not a doctor/nurse, but this is what I remember in my case.
