The reason no one answers is because no one has an answer for you. Posting more than once will not change that - if someone knows how to help you they will post. Mike
This is a Hep "C" forum. Hep A is a different animal. Not many, if any, on this forum know much about Hep A. Your best bet to find a Hep A forum.
Good Luck
No offense, but it's hard to interpret your question. why are you asking here, instead of a dr? How do you know that the infectionto the liver and pancreas are increasing? Have you tried to find out if something else is causing your problems? I don't know what you mean by "normal, yellow percentage" in the blood?
I have read that symptoms usually last less than 2 months, although they may last as long as 9 months. About 15% of people infected with hepatitis A have symptoms that come and go for 6-9 months.
Sorry I can't be of more help, I think you need a dr to answer your questions, or go to to a clinic and find out if something else is affecting your pancreas.
Sounds like you need medical help from a good doctor that can actually see and evaluate you. If your doctor isn't working out or helping you, try and find a better doctor elsewhere. When you say you have an infection in your "pancreas and liver", what do you mean by that? I've never heard that the hepatitis A virus can invade and infect the pancreas as well as the liver. Maybe it can though, I'm not a doctor, I've just never heard of such a thing. Are you sure you haven't developed some kind of secondary bacterial infection in addition to being infected by hep A? Hepatitis A/B/C is a viral infection, not bacterial.
Here's just a few things I would do for starters:
1. Have yourself checked for other forms of hepatitis. It's possible you are also co-infected with hepatitis B and/or hepatitis C. If you were infected with another form of hepatitis in addition to hep A, that could definitely cause very serious and long term problems associated with jaundice, liver damage etc.
2. Have yourself checked for gallstones. Gallstones can also cause jaundice and hepatitis-like symptoms. Gallstones can also exacerbate the symptoms of a hepatitis infection, so it would be a good idea to find out if you have them. Do you sometimes experience pain after eating greasy meals and/or experience indigestion? If so, that can sometimes be a sign of gallstones.
Hope this helps a little, but again you really need to see a good gastroenterologist to find out what's going on. Good luck...
