i had them ,also flu like sides and tireness, i just kept the dose and they re gone
i also noticed that if i stop it for few days i get sides again like mild diarrhea so i try not to stop
Yes Stef. Started L arginine too about a month ago. Increased dose last week to 1000mg. had pain around my pelvis which came for about 2 days and went, next pain towards the lower right area of my abdomen and flu like symptons. How have you managed these sides?
l arginine after about 1 month of 20-30g daily (maybe due to black seed too because i started this same period but unlikely)
flu like pains like peginterferon increasing day by day now, started to notice some pains 1-2weeks ago
anybody on l arginine like my dose since 1 month and experiencing these symtoms?
Tryptophan induces sleep soon after intake, so use it 30 min before bedtime.
The 2000mg that I mentioned is a strong dose for the sleep effect, but it might also help for the tell function, if we believe Carlo Ferrari.
We got used with interferon:). it Is difficult to beat this virus. I hope You will win next time
i dont think so, after peg was finished i ve had periods waking up 7am with less than 8hrs sleep, even 6hrs sleep and feeling ok
now i mainly focus on thyroid recovery so in the next year i can restart peg add on to tdf
Helo steff! I have the same problem as you. I can sleep till 2 am and in the morning I can not wake up and I feel so bad till 11 am. Do you think is thyroid problem?
Thank You
i have very big problems with sleep, i have to use melatonin to induce sleep because there is none until 2am and i get very disturbed dreams, all of this not natural at all.i cannot have blood tests since i can t wake up in the morning and i feel very bad when i wake up.i stopped gcmaf to see if problems with thyroid can recover without it
so Tryptophan is welcome for this sleep effect, does it induce sleep if i take it early?
thanks, can you check please my other topic here about suppements on peginf
It would make sense to use Arginine and Tryptophan with interferon together, but it is just an educated speculation.
You think tryptophan can be used with interferon ? I start therapy soon and want to collect some good supplements which may boost response. I will create a separate topic to do not hijack this one :)
In addition to a shortage of Arginine for Tcell function there is also a shortage of Tryptophan that reduces Tcell function, according to Dr. Maini and Ferrari. (See his talk at the recent meeting in Paris). It might thus be advantageous to add 2000mg of tryptophane right at bedtime. This will induce sleep rapidly and also generate more Serotonin, the decarboxylation product of Tryptophan for the next day, improving a general feeling of wellness.
The only problem with all this is, that Serotonin can induce a craving for carbohydrates.
citrulline is said to be better to rise blood levels of arginine but for now i m trying l arginine only and waiting to see if it has any effect on hbsag or alt levels
i am trying 20-30g of l arginine per day, unfortunately there is little studies on effect of high dose l arginine and tcell responces
Thank you so much stepf for your inputs.
some of these supplements are used in gym, maybe there is experience on arginase blockers on gym forums
we are trialing using l arginine, but also citrulline, norvaline and ornithine could be used
